Museum Late Night Opening

The House of European History will mark the date of the European Elections 2019 with a late night opening on Sunday 26 May. The museum’s exhibitions will stay open for the public until 23.00. Visitors are invited to take part in thematic guided tours on democracy, in English, French and Dutch.

Democracy is an ancient tradition and key value for Europe but never a given, rather an endeavour, a struggle, as the these tours will show you!
There will be a buzz in the European quarter around this time - and the House of European History is contributing by highlighting the struggles and complexity of democracy from its origins until today.

There will be a buzz in the European quarter around this time. With music, debates and many other activities on the Esplanade before the European Parliament. The night ends by a public screening of the results of the European elections in front of the Parliament. Come and be part of it!
