There are plenty of fun and interactive things for families to get involved in when visiting the House of European History. Our ‘Time Traveller’ resources allow the young (and not so young) to journey back through European history together to see some of the highs and lows of past centuries.
On arrival at the front desk simply pick up a family back-pack, grab your family trail and off you go to discover the galleries and collections.
On each floor you will encounter family friendly ‘Discovery Spaces’ packed with interactive, hands-on activities that guide you to learn more about the displays in that area of the museum.
The museum is family-friendly, with baby-changing facilities and access for buggies. We recommend the minimum age for children visiting the museum should be six years old. Parents may feel certain aspects of the permanent exhibition are only suitable for children over eleven years old.
