Description

Have you ever wondered how the Europe we know today was influenced and shaped by pioneers of the past? What led these pioneers to believe in a unified Europe before it existed?

Take this 90 minute workshop and help your students understand the milestones of European integration and their relevance today.

Together, explore the key events of European integration through solo and group exercises as part of the ”Visible Thinking Method’’ which makes information ‘visible’ while also encouraging critical thinking. Students will connect to the pioneers of the European Union by reflecting on how their life stories shaped today’s Europe. Throughout the workshop, your group will collaboratively build the links between Europe’s past and present challenges using objects in the museum and engaging learning materials.

By the end of the workshop, your students will leave with a deeper understanding of the European Union’s history and values, the people who built it, as well as a clearer picture of what the EU represents for them on a personal level.
