Join our special tours of the exhibition Throwaway – the history of a modern crisis, in either German, Estonian, Polish, Romanian or Slovenian. Uncover the history of rubbish through the eyes of creative and committed museum professionals. They will guide you through the exhibition galleries, highlight their favourite objects on display and share their perspectives on environmental issues, sustainability, circularity and related topics. Throwaway is much more than a physical exhibition. It is, above all, a collective effort. The House of European History collaborated with nine museums across Europe to gather historical and contemporary objects for the exhibition, develop content for an immersive online platform and record the experiences object-related stories for a publication

We are delighted to welcome partner representatives to Brussels, and we warmly invite you to accompany them for a unique walk through Throwaway.
