Onsite event
Families take centre stage at the House of European History during 'Krokuskriebels' (literally: 'Crocus Tickles') – an initiative of Faro and de Gezinsbond, taking place from Monday 20 February to Sunday 26 February.
Throughout the week come and experience the museum through a new lens with our newly launched museum trails for kids.
Explore the Highlight Trail where kids will learn all about the fascinating history of Europe (for ages 6 and up).
For the more adventurous types, embark on a Spy Trail to become a real history spy! Try to crack the code by completing various secret tasks while discovering Europe's rich history at the same time (for ages 10 and up).
Families can also come and explore the Family Discovery Spaces located throughout the museum. These special spaces help our younger visitors encounter parts of history in a more hands-on way. Smell a range of spices – can you tell what they are and where they come from just by their scent?
Visit our special travel desk and learn more about Europe in a playful way through our new audio-visual installation.
For the entire day, the spotlight is on you!
We want to hear what you think about our new family trails, the items in the museum, and your overall experience as a family. We value your opinion and looking forward to hearing your thoughts!
