Museum Night Fever at the House of European History!
For this year's edition of Museum Night Fever, the House of European History invites you to immerse yourself in the fascinating world of posters in our temporary exhibition "When Walls Talk!". The event is free of charge.
You can participate in a guided tour, join a lively screen-printing workshop, also known as ‘serigraphy’, and print some of the exhibition's iconic visuals, or take part in a conversation on cultural identity.
For this evening, the museum also teamed up with local Brussels artists, who will take you through a journey of sounds, vibrations and movement for a unique and dynamic show.

Guided tours in the temporary exhibition "When Walls Talk!"
The exhibition aims to reflect European history through posters from the last 100 years, in a way that raises awareness about the multiplicity of perspectives and interpretations. From the propaganda of the World Wars and the Cold War to the explosion of cultural exchange, tourism and the emergence of multi-voiced social movements after the Second World War, complex layers of European division and unity are revealed through a selection of posters from the collection of the House of European History.

Serigraphy workshop by Ice Screen

Participate in an animated workshop on screen-printing, also known as serigraphy, organised by Ice screen. Thanks to this fascinatingtechnique, visitors will be able to print on tote bags or paper, iconic posters and visuals from the museum's temporary exhibition “When Walls Talk!”. Drop in activity, no prior registration needed.
CITIZENS* by Skin Mutts

CITIZENS* is a project of Skin Mutts. It is a series of photographic interviews in which Brussels citizens talk about their cultural identity in relation to the city, (one of) their homes. For Skin Mutts, a citizen is someone who knows the place, has memories and experiences related to the city and has created a home. This is true regardless of their legal status, whether they were born here or came here later....
During the evening, visitors will also be able to visit the photographic exhibition and take part in a workshop on cultural identity.

Dj Odilon
Multiple Scratch Champion in Belgium, Dj Odilon has featured in several international competitions, including in 2010 when he became IDA World Champion - the First world title in history in a Deejay competition for Belgium!. Not only a competitor Dj Odilon is also well known in the Brussels nightlife scene. He is currently resident in several establishments such as: Café Belga, the Food Market (Tour & Taxi), La Machine, the Casco, the Café Central. He also performed on prestigious stages such as Dour Festival, Brussels Summer Festival, Les Inc Rock, Les Francofolies de SPA...
A Selva (Percussions)
Multi-percussionist and active member of the SYSMO collective, Selva is an accomplished artist who draws his creativity and eclecticism from his Belgo-Brazilian origins. Throughout his career and his various experiences, he has developed a unique approach and sharpened his technique mastering a multitude of percussion instruments. Enriched by his past experiences, he has participated in many shows, festivals and projects using funk, jazz, afro, salsa, hip-hop and electro styles.
Paolo LOVERI (Guitarist)
Originally from Italy, in 1991 Paolo decided to specialise in Belgium at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels in the jazz section where he obtained the first prize in 1993. He plays with artists such as Paolo Radoni, Jean Louis Ransinfosse, Philip Catherine, Adamo, Lara Fabian... Just to name a few! Paolo also participates in innovative projects like the Nu Jazz Project, a collective of musicians combining Jazz, Soul and Electro.
Younes AYOUTE & the Funky Skillz crew (Dancers)
The crew was created by Younes, founder and trainer of the famous Hip Hop dance school "Funky Feet Academy" in Namur. Originally students, Thalys, Gaël and Nils joined their talents to form the Funky Skillz crew. Active since 2019, the crew has already performed at various events, choreographic competitions, shows and dance competitions ... Promising and ambitious young talents, to follow closely!
